Golden slumbers November 3, 2007

Joe Bratcher brought to my attention this impressive video of juggler/standup comedian Chris Bliss, possibly one of my favorite YouTubes:

In response, a comment led me to Jason Garfield‘s “Bliss diss”, to Bliss’s soundtrack:

Garfield’s YouTube page makes it clear he’s not lacking in the ego department, but is his juggling really better? Or does his video (poorly shot as it is, and with more than a few very suspicious edits) show nothing more than that he can juggle more stuff?

Bliss shows there’s more to juggling than just athletics. He’s infinitely more graceful, and there’s clearly no lack of skill in his juggling against the beat, something Garfield doesn’t even attempt. Bottom line, Bliss is simply more fun to watch.
