The “Voices in Conflict” website I cited in my post below took down the early and final drafts of their script, replacing them with the following: “We are still in the process of finding appropriate legal permission to use quotations in the play, and thus have been advised to take down the script for now for legal purposes. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
But as of this morning, the scripts are available on the Wilton Bulletin website, and I also have them here:
My question: if the student’s site needed “legal permission” (whatever that means), why did the Bulletin have no problem posting them? Is there really a copyright/permission issue here, or is the WHS administration trying to invent one to intimidate the students?
