I’m very pleased to report that my original screenplay, Eighty-Eight Frequencies, is a finalist in the 40th annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival.
It’s one of four finalists in the category of biographical screenplays. At the end of April it will receive a Remi Award, rank to be determined (bronze, silver, gold or platinum). Also to be determined is whether it receives an overall best-of-festival award that could come with a cash prize.
If you haven’t read Eighty-Eight Frequencies for a while, there are some changes, I think for the better. There are other very tentative developments that I can’t go into specifically. I’ve restricted public access to the screenplay while things are up in the air; at some point in the not-too-distant future I may be taking it down entirely, so act now if you want to read it.
